Only IRF certificates issued in Austria (AUT XX XXX RGX) can be renewed by the Tyrolean Rafting Association!
For renewal of all other IRF licences please contact the IRF or your IRF assessor!
The following documents are required for the extension of the IRF raft guide ID Level 2 / Level 3 / Level 4:

Proof of guiding min. 10 raft trips WW II (Level 2) / WW III (Level 3 ) / WW IV (Level 4) in the last 3 years, in the form of a correct approved logbook / trip confirmation

Valid first aid certificate with a minimum of 8 hours course duration (not older than 3 years)

Tyrolean rafting license
application
Owners of an IRF raft guide license level 3/4 can apply for a Tyrolean rafting license!
Requirements are: IRF level 3/4 License, min. 2 training trips in Tyrol at WW level 3, min. 5 training trips in Tyrol at WW level 4 and current knowledge of first aid. This can only be confirmed by the Tyrolean Rafting Association or a rafting company operating in Tyrol (download application below)

Fee will be waived if applied in the same year of the IRF exam

After it has been issued, the Tyrolean rafting license does not need to be renewed. It is only valid on the rivers of Tyrol that are designated for commercial rafting.

skipper's license
All issued "Skipper Patent Raft" are still valid and are recognized by the members of the Tyrolean Rafting Association and the Tyrolean provincial government. These do not need to be rewritten as they are still valid throughout Austria on all commercially used river sections.
The Tyrolean Rafting Association is not responsible for these licenses. For all issues in this regard (loss, reissue, etc.), please contact the Tyrolean government !
